When you ask for advice or for an opinion
here on lif, do you take it or still do whatever you want to do?
like if you want to buy something and people dislike it, do you still buy it anyways?

That's a pet peeve of mine. When people ask knowing full well what they are going to do already.

As far as buying things, I still buy it anyway. Thats why I barely ask questions like that.
As far as advice that is given, I do take everyones opinions into consideration.

I know that i'm stubborn, so i try not to waste people's time withgiving me advice that i'll never use 
but, every once in a while, i'll ask questions on Fashion, b/c i'm completely challenged in that area.  and then, i do really take it into account.

If I ask for advice I usually take it...though not always. Actually very recently I was given advice and did not take it but I am willing to fully accept the consequences.
As for opinions, I don't often ask for them on fashion type stuff because if I like it I buy it... I don't usually need opinions... If I ask for opinions on fashion type stuff it's usually because I'm very on the fence about it.

I rarely ask for opinions.
When I do, I consider what people said & make my decision from there.
If I wasn't interested in weighing other's opinions or alternate views, then I see no point in asking for them.

Depends on the issue. I don't ask for opinions on LIF for many things but did ask for opinions on Costco memberships. We are joining based on LIF recommendations.

I don't often ask on here for advice or opinions, but when I do, I am usually hoping certain people will respond
IRL, if I don't want an opinion, I don't ask. I will ask a good friend what she thinks if I am really on the fence about something. I am pretty strong willed, if I know I am going to do something, I don't worry too much about what other people think.

I actually asked about a pair of shoes I already bought, and everyone said they didn't like them. But in real life I got compliments on them from strangers. So I consider the answers. I was actually kind of upset that noone liked them. But I felt better when I got the compliments.
