When you buy prepared foods at Costco/BJ's....

...like the rolled sandwiches, sushi, mexican party dips or platters for parties - not the real MEAL stuff- how long can you keep it before you serve it?

I am having people in my home on Tuesday evening and will have very little time on Tuesday afternoon to prepare. I was hoping I could buy the stuff on Monday without it getting icky.

I really should know the answer to this question and I feel rather lame for asking it but I just accidentally inhaled some Easy Off and well, I lost a few brain cells.

I would serve it if I bought it the day before. I'm sure it will be fine.

I had only been concerned about breads and wraps either getting soggy or too crusty. Man that sounds gross.

I don't see a problem with it. Even if bought today. It should be fine!!!!

I know what you mean about bread--at work sandwiches from luncheons are always Chat Icon the next day. Wraps get less soggy than bread, but bread with anything on it gets gross...
