When you feed your baby solid foods..

do you always give a cereal - for example...I have been giving DS rice mixed with either apples or bananas and now I have added a veggie. I give the veggie separate from the rice and fruit, but is it a good idea to be giving cereal at every meal? (We just started solids a few weeks ago) Right now he eats about 1 1/2 -2 tablespoons of cereal with about 1/2 container of fruit mixed (with some formula mixed in too) and about 1/4 container of veggies. He gets this twice a day...if I don't do cereal at each meal, should he be getting a full container of fruit and a full container of veggies at each meal.....that sounds like a lot.
I am so confused...........................

My DS is 9 months and still getting cereal with every meal. He will have cereal and fruits for breakfast, cereal with a fruit and veggie for lunch, and cereal with veggies for dinner.

Lately I feel as though he is eating all the time!!!
