When you found out you were having twins
Hi Girls..
Probably a weird question..I was just wondering if anyone saw just one baby/heartbeat at first ultrasound..Then at 12 weeks or 20 weeks sonogram found out having two babies. I just ask because.. With my first I keep having a feeling I was having a girl and was right..Now I keep feeling boy & girl..so weird.. I also feel very sick all the time..and feel like my belly is getting so big quickly..

i found out at 6 wks when i had a sono.
ETA: they are sharing a sac, but we saw 2 HB's

I had 2 sonograms before I found out I was having twins. The first was at 8 weeks and then at 10. lo and behold at approximately 13 weeks.... out popped the identical twin! Kind of like magic! They shared the same sac so only one sac showed up on the sonos.

I found out I was having twins on my first ultrasound at about 5 1/2 weeks. We saw 2 sacs. My next ultrasound a week later 2 sacs and 2 heartbeats!

I saw only one sac at the 5wk sono (I had a bleed, so I went a lot in the beginning). But, at the 6wk sono, we saw both hb's.

I had 6 sonograms from 4-9 weeks....1 baby
At my 12 week sonogram the dr still said 1 baby. Right before he was done the nurse thought she saw something...sure enough...twins.

We were 6W5D when the dr saw two heartbeats. Before that time I assumed only one since there was only one sac.
However, I was talking to someone the other day that told me she was 18 weeks when she found out about her fraternal twins! She said she thought there was a problem because she was growing so quickly.

I was worried about the size I was! As there is no twins in our family history the doctors didn’t worry, but at 13 weeks I had people asking me how long I had to go!….. This made bells go off, so I had scan and no questions needed to be asked, two sacks and two heart beats!
I cried for the next week! we were so happy!.......they will be 1 next month, and we still cant get over it! its amazing how time flies!

I had a sono around 5.5 weeks w one HB and the possibility of another sac. The next week there were two HB's(I was an IVF patient witha complicated history ergo the multiple sonos)

Sonogram at the Re - only saw one, but she commented it was a very stronge heartbeat. This was at 6 weeks.
At 7 weeks my regualr OB saw 2 heartbeats and 2 sacs. Boy was that a surprise.

I had 2 sonos prior to discovering the twins. I found out twins at 13 weeks. I was SHOCKED!
