When you get annoyed, bothered or frustrated....
Do you tell the person that you are feeling a certain way because they XXXX?
Or do you exhibit an attitude or give a snotty remark in response?
With me I tend to say what's bothering me if it's a big deal and if it's minor but im frustrated give a snotty remark....but this habit or way of mine is not working and causing lots of conflict in my relationship!

I'm totally sarcastic and will always make some sort of sarcastic/snide remark. I don't like that about myself.

Re: When you get annoyed, bothered or frustrated....
It's one of my biggest problems that I"m working on - DH has been the recipient of many a snarky/snappy response. It only serves to puzzle him and upset him, and as I'm learning that it doesn't get us anywhere, I'm trying to change how I react to things he does.

Same for me...and I always feel bad about it afterwards.

Re: When you get annoyed, bothered or frustrated....
It really does help to know that Im not alone in this. This never surfaced as an issue for 31 years and now in this relationship my responses tend to cause so much harm.
I too need to work on this...it's really hard in the heat of the moment....but I will be more aware of this moving forward.

Re: When you get annoyed, bothered or frustrated....
I am much more upfront about it, especially when it is my husband. It hurts us both if one of us is snarky without cause. I am also very honest with my friends. At work, I keep it to myself because it doesn't help.
I know it is hard but your relationship will be richer if you can concur this issue.

I am the same way but he is too. It makes for VERY interesting conversations and arguments. ( I am sure the neighbors would agree) We are both trying to work on this.
