When you lost your hair after having the baby, did you lose it in one specific area or all over? I just washed my hair and I swear, I'm shocked that I still have any on my head!!

It comes out all over. "They" Say that you dont loose hair like you normally would when you are pregnant and when your hormones finally drop you begin to loose that hair that you've been saving for 9+ months. I did however had a quarter size bald spot that my hairdresser kindly pointed out to me which has since regrown.

My pp hairloss is incredible! Ican't believe how much comes out. I have to clean the shower drain out half way through my shower so the water can drain. I do know that eventually it stops around 6 months pp, at least it did after I had my son.

when does this start?! I am 7 weeks PP and it hasnt started yet. Its true that I didnt loose hardly any hair throughout the pregnancy though - which I used to loose a lot before I got prego.

I lost it in just two spots one on each side of my head behind the temple. The hairloss only lasted for a few weeks before it started growing up.
I was recommended a really good dermotologist who specializes in this ... let me know if you want the info!

It hasn't happened for me either.

Mine started a few weeks ago when DD turned 4 months and it's all over Never lost a strand being pregnant so I guess the hormones are regulating...

Actually my hairdresser said, my hair has completely changed since being pregnant.
mine too! I havent lost any but it is about 5 shades darker than it was and much curlier! wierd..

My already thick hair got wayyy too thick being pg. It was and still is soo unmanageable.
I started losing it all over around 8-10 weeks PP and still have to take the little hair animal in my tub from blocking the drain.
I am totally welcoming the loss, I want my old hair back, the hair I could actually tame!

This is me too. It started about 2 weeks ago (just before DD turned 3 months). I leave my hair all over the house, and there seems to be a small animal in the shower when I'm finished in there  .

Its all over. I never notice by looking at myself that I am losing hair but its all over the bathroom floor when I blowdry my hair in the morning.

I lost alot each shower, btu I think just all over, I did notice it growing back at 7 months and that's when I cut bangs!! LOL

Mine started at 8-10 wks PP. I can't get over how much fall outs, it clogs the drain. Then when I brush my hair MORE comes out ...I hope it stops soon. Good thing I have a LOT of hair!

I lost it all over, my tub drain was so full the water wouldnt go down. It lasted about 6 months. It just really ended a few weeks ago. Now its a strand here or there...  so annoying..
