When you switch to regular milk

Do you change what you give them for breakfast?

Marron always eats oatmeal made with formula and fruit for breakfast. When I start giving her regular milk, do I make the oatmeal with the milk, or with formula, or do I start giving her something different to eat? She is still eating about 50% babyfood for her meals. I'm trying to get her off of it, but she seems to prefer it to table food.

you could make the oatmeal with regular milk. when i switched ds from formula to milk he started eating like a horse! the milk has less calories than the formula so he really started making up for it in his eating. i can't believe how much he eats! for breakfast i give him regular adult oatmeal, but i make it with water. he also likes to eat pancakes, fruit, waffles, and cheerios for breakfast.

At what age do you switch to milk?
I had always thought one year, some of the girls at work are saying 6 months.

You switch to whole milk at a year. The need the nutrients in the formula/breastmilk until then. 6 months is way too early!
