When you upgrade from an iPhone 3 to 4...
do you need to choose one of their new plans or can you keep your old one?
Also is it better to buy from an AT&T store or Apple? I'm assuming it doesn't matter...right?

when we upgraded we got it from the apple store and did not need to upgrade our plan. When you call to see if they have them in stock tell them you are a AT&T customer they said the sell them to existing customers first. We got ours in September.

DH just did this and he went to an AT&T store
He didn't have to upgrade his plan but you have to get new sim card, and it doesn't fit in the old one so if you break the new one you can't just take your sim card out of the 4 and put it in something else, because its smaller
