when you use a bag of frozen BM
how long can you leave it in the fridge to use it?
hub took out a 5 ounce frozen bag i think on thursday night... its still in there. if he uses it tomorrow, is that ok?
i hope it didnt spoil.... :(

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the rule is to use it within 24 hours of defrosting.

i've gone a little longer than 24 hours before, but i definitely would not use that since thursday.

I've gone a little over 24 hours too, but that's a long time since thurs. However, my LC told me that there have been studies done on the amounts of bacteria that grow, etc. and that it was minimal. She said that you should use it asap but doesn't like to tell people to dump it.

24 hours is what I've heard. Thursday is a long time, so I wouldn't use it.
