When your baby wakes in the middle of the night for a quick feed...
do you change them?
We always have been-- but, she does occasionally sleep through-- so of course there is no diaper change if she is not waking up.
I am thinking it's faster to feed, and faster for her to go back to sleep if we don't change her-- but, then I am worried about her tush.

Not unless she did #2 or she seemed upset after the feeding. DD would always usually just fall fast asleep after I fed her so I wouldn't wake her to change. If I wanted to change her I did it b/4 feeding her so she would go to sleep after she ate.

Not usually unless I feel like his diaper is really full because then it leaks....like last night.

I change DS whenever I know he has a dirty diaper. I can't stand the idea of him being in a dirty diaper. Once in a while, I will know that I am letting him sleep for an hr with a dirty diaper (I'll just be so sleepy) and I feel guilty for not changing him right away.

When she did wake up to eat during the night I would feed her and change her. She is already up so better safe then sorry

Kaydyn was swaddled at night until she was 6 months. If she woke at night we generally didn't even unwrap her from the swaddle...unless I could feel that she was really wet we did not change her. She would wake up and it would then take a while to put her back down.

In the middle of the night, DS only nurses for 10 minutes and then passes out. I don't change him unless he poops, which rarely happens now during the night.
