I do the same-one and done. It is such a waste!

Same here. And just last week I was saying to DH that it's crazy that I do that for her towels when ours are only washed once a week. Chat Icon But I'm a little neurotic about her stuff like that-- I change her sheet at least twice a week too Chat Icon

For months I washed it after one use, then I too had an epiphany!!!! I now use the same towel for two baths. I hang it up behind the door to dry.

Same here, actually it might have been my DH who had the epiphany!

I hang the towel up right away on a hook and definitely get two uses out of it (sometimes 3 if I'm lazy, because the towels are on the 2nd floor Chat Icon )

Re: When your DC gets out of the bath/shower

We use the towel twice. I feel like he is completely clean after having a bath and I use my towel twice so it is ok for him too.

Re: When your DC gets out of the bath/shower

I get two baths out of one towel. I take it and hang it on his door to dry. After the next nights bath I put it in the hamper.

I immediately put those hooded towels over her head when she gets out and when she is dry it goes into the hamper - I have about 4 or 5 so it makes it easier to do that.

Oh God no! I bathe them every night, 2 kids, that would be way too much laundry, especially since DH can never seem to hang his towel up either and uses a fresh one every day Chat Icon

The kids towels each get hung up on a hook on the back of the door and used for at least 3x before hitting the wash.

I mean, really, they are coming out of the bath/shower clean - how dirty could the towel be? Wet, yes, dirty, no! Chat Icon

same here and Trish...are we married to the same man? This makes me crazyChat Icon

Exactly! It's "water". I hand it right after I DS's PJs on.

Nope - it gets hung up on the doorknob for next time. I wash it after a few baths.

Re: When your DC gets out of the bath/shower

I use it 3-4 times before it goes into the hamper. After the showers the towels go on the hook behind the door to dry. If I used them only once, I'd be washing 14 towels/week just for the kids - not that serious.

Re: When your DC gets out of the bath/shower

Since we don't have a washer and dryer and need to go to the laundromat to do our laundry, I get as many uses out of her towels as possible (it's more like 3 uses max) She's only in it for 2 minutes anyway and she's clean.

I use the towel twice. I try to be environmentally consience and I think using a towel once and then washing it is a waste, IMHO

I only use it once, but DS only gets a bath once a week unless he has a real mess of a diaper
