Where are all the 'on break' people?
I just want to see what you're up to - and what you're doing about planning to TTC in the future while you aren't able to now (hope that makes sense.) I'm just kind of hanging out- but focusing on all things except TTC... fixing up my house, working on my business, etc... They put me on provera and now AF is here - VERY heavily and VERY crampily. I'm constantly thinking about when I can try again, but not actually DOING anything about trying again- I just have to wait it out and keep taking my meds that they tell me to. Then next week I go for more bloodwork. I just keep telling myself one more round of provera after this and that's how I seem to be getting through it for now...... Anyone else?

Re: Where are all the 'on break' people?
Well, I'm kinda new to IF treatments, but am "on-break" for last cycle and the current. I have to have a hysteroscopy next week, and for the first time in a year, my goal is to NOT get pregnant. Strange, but I'm finding it kind of relaxing not to stress about every tweak and twinge. After this cycle, we're trying an un-medicated IUI. I'm just not thinking about it yet, though.

Re: Where are all the 'on break' people?
I am on a break too. I've been working a lot and we actually just went on vacation for a week - got home yesterday . DH's job has been nuts too with the whole stock market issue so he's been really busy as well.
Surprisingly enough I have been getting my period on my own, and I think my cycles are regulating - since I stopped treatment the first cycle was 60 days, then 45 days, then 32 days. So we're just seeing what happens for a month or so and then we'll get going with IVF after that if necessary.
Good luck to all!

Re: Where are all the 'on break' people?
I guess I am taking a break, even though I really haven't started. Lol. I am still new to the process and am in the preliminary phase of everything.
Background: Came off BC in June and haven't had AF since. Met with the RE for the first time in September. Hormones are out of whack. High FSH and LH, low E2 on first set of bloodwork back in August when I saw my GYN. Repeated at the RE's office...still high FSH and LH, E2 improving. Had a sono and ultra sound. Did a round of Provera, no success.
Meeting him again next week. Looking at a possible hysterosalpingogram (i think), another round of bloodwork, and the probable start of estrogen.
Fun Fun!! All that BD'ing for nothing!!

Re: Where are all the 'on break' people?
I'm on a break, unfortunately. Hopefully just for this month, but if the 5 cysts don't shrink, it will be longer. I am debating whether or not to do OPKs for this month and try au naturale. I hate wasting a cycle. I am assuming once I start treatment again, we will continue with injectibles. If this is how it is gonna be everytime, though, I might just do IVF.
