Where are my iphone photos?
I backed up my phone to my computer and am now trying to find my photos in the computer before I delete them from my phone. Anybody know where the file might be? I've tried searching google for the answer, but none of the ones I find are helpful (I don't seem to have the files they say should be there). I'm not very tech savvy, so answers need to be really dumbed down for me.  Thanks!

Where are my iphone photos?
you backed it up using ITunes? if so I am not sure you can just grab your photos? did you transfer your photos using ITunes if so I think you should be able to go into ITunes and see where they got transferred too.
what I do is just connect my phone to the computer then click on my computer find you phone and copy over all the photos to where ever you want them

Did they go into iPhoto? Sometimes I type iPhoto in the search magnifying glass to find the program. Open it up and there you should see them. Last import and even all pics. ( if use a Mac)

No, unfortunately I have a PC.
I did use that magnifying glass, and they seem to be there, but I can't open them cause they're in some prc file, or something like that. And of course I downloaded some program to open them and it isn't doing it. Ughhh.

Mine used to backup very weird to my PC, show up crooked, weird file names, etc. I would not delete them from your iPhone yet. Just leave them on there and take some time to find where they are before deleting.
