Where can i buy a reasonably priced Dining Room Set?
I was hoping to get some suggestions on where I can buy a dinning room set (table; chairs & buffet).
I've looked in Raymour & Flanigan but they're pretty pricey. A friend of mine suggested Bob's Discount Furniture-but the only table i liked (online) was the one she already bough! I'll have to check the store for a greater selection...
Any other suggestions? I'm gonna eye crate & barrel-but they're a little pricey too. Maybe even pier 1. Any other suggestions?

Thanks! I'm gonna make a drive to Bob's over the weekend and see what they have in the store.
Does JCP have a furniture store or do you have to order from the catalog without actaully seeing it first?

We got all of our new furniture from Ashley's. They have a great showroom and are reasonably priced and have good quality stuff

I got my dining room set from JCP and it was under $1,000. That was over 6 years ago and it still looks great.
I bought mine at the Lake Grove store.

we just ordered a set from BOBs....
its being delivered on saturday so i will let you know then how we like it....
but you cant beat the prices there

I agree. We just got our bed here after shopping around at all of the other stores. Ashley seemed to have the best quality for our price range. And, I also agree that they have a great showroom!

I know the Westfield Mall in massapequa has furniture on display in JCP

befriend a designer  . a savvy designer has accounts with multiple manufacturers and receives discounts of 20-50%.
check CL and estate sales. you have to do some searching but there are some really great deals to be found.

Furniture storeson Rte 110. Sometimes if you're patient and willing to go to all of them you might find something nice and reasonably priced.

while this is a good idea most designers that have access to discounts can only have it shipped to one place, and then you still have to pay for delivery to get it from that specific place. I think she was looking for reasonable prices, a designer is going to give you high end furniture, and while the discount is good, its not going to fit the "reasonable" category, and then you still have to deliver it
