Where can I buy a treadmill? Can you recommend one?
I know sears sells them and that you can buy them online.
Is there anywhere else I should look?

Just from experience, I have to say, don't go with a cheap model. If you are going to buy one, go professional grade or close to it.
I was trying to be cheap and buy one for $200 or so, and it was so terrible, I never used it!

Thanks for the advice! ITA with you. I want to get a professional one, but I'm torn on models.
I've heard precor (but they are $$$) and Sole are good.

I actually got a decent one from Sears. It was on sale and I got it for under $500.00.
It's now sitting in my garage for safe keeping though.

My dh bought me one from sports authority. It was only around $500 and I run on it 5 days a week and it is perfect. You do not need to spend over $1,000 to get a good run. Mone has the ability to go to a 10 incline and a 10 speed it also has 6 pre set workouts.
It is a proform

Sears, Proform, U can get an awesome one for around 400-500 bucks.

I agree - I thought I should spend over $1,000, but I got a proform for $899 including tax and shipping! bought it directly from them and it's one of their top models that we luckily got on-sale before Christmas. It's regularly priced over $1200 I think. Anyway, my brother has a proform as well and spent less than I did and it lasted him 10 years of running!

We just bought a Sole for $1400 and free shipping and so far we really like it. It was SUPER HEAVY getting in the house though - it's just curbside delivery for the free shipping.
