Where can I buy Antique Furniture?
TIA
I just bought my first piece yesterday and I am so excited but I wanted to buy more pieces.
Here is my first purchase. I have wanted one for so long now and finally found exactly what I was looking for. My Great Aunt left us her wash basin and pitcher so this completes the look

I can't help you, but I wanted to say...beautiful piece!
ETA: I can't recommend on LI, but upstate in Columbia County - in Hudson, NY - specifically Warren Street...is FILLED with Antique shops. If you want more info let me know.

My dad is a dealer and participate in auctions. That is where you would find the most reasonably prices pieces. Unfortunately, most of the shops on LI are very overpriced for the pieces.

I've been to Golden Oldies...it's kind of pricey, though. The only one I had gone to was in Port Washington, and evidently, that one is no longer there.

You should take a day trip and go somewhere like Broomfield Mass, or to some big antiques fairs upstate. You won't find much on LI thats reasonable.
