Where can I buy candles to put in the window that are battery operated???
Looked in Maces and CVS and they only had electric ones

Don't waste your money - they don't glow bright enough to really be seen from the street. We got some when we lived in Boston - all the homes in NE have them and it's such a pretty look, but when we put them up you couldn't even tell they were there until you got close. At the very least, just get one to test first - maybe they've improved them - but make sure you can return the rest if you're not happy with it.

I have candles for my windows that plug into outlets. I bought them from AC Moore (and last I checked, they still have them in stock); they glow very bright and can easily been seen from the street and down a few houses.
