Where can I find a nice briefcase/bag for DH?
I am looking for a shoulder strap bag. DH is not into "messenger" bags but he needs a bag to put all this paperwork as he commutes to the City. It MUST have a shoudler strap and it MUST be great quality as commute to the City (train and subway) is rough on anything you own.
I am looking for a local store. Not online.
Do the Deer Park Outlet have those? Any other stores?

DH loves the one i got him from Kenneth Cole and the quality is great! they will even replace/fix it if something goes wrong over time

DH has a KC now and it was great but it's coming apart after so many years of use. I may get another one. Who sells them?

Tumi - that is where I get bags for DH for work. I have one as well from when I was working.
They hold up really well (have a really great warranty) and come in all different shapes and styles to fit whatever you want from briefcases, to bags, to computer bags etc. You should be able to find exactly what you described there.
They sell them in the Tumi store in Roosevelt field, but you can also get them in bloomies maybe macy's, luggage stores - like innovation luggage (one of them might have coupons).

I just bought my DH a Coach one for Christmas at the outlets in PA. I'm sure the outlets on LI will have them, too. I was out in Riverhead a month or so ago and saw them. (I got a much better deal in PA, though.)
I commute to the city and my coach briefcase has held up to quite a bit of commuting abuse.

I agree about the Coach Outlet store. I've seen some nice ones out at the one in Riverhead (haven't been to the outlets in Deer Park yet).
