Where can I find an upohlstered club/oversized chair and ottoman on the cheap?
I desperately want one for DD's room. I never got a glider, but we do have a loveseat in there. I find now that I need a comfy chair with an ottoman, so it's more comfy to doze when she wakes up in the middle of the night.
The ones i have seen that I like, with the fabric-- would be close to $1,000. Of course I want nice quality, but there has to be something available that is not THAT expensive.

Is there a furniture "area" near you like the stores on Rt. 110?
(I think you live OOS but not 100% sure on that).
Also maybe try Target online?

yes, but barely... I am in Hoboken. My mom lives in Melville, and will be there tomorrow so I can look on 110 if I have time.
But I do want something kinda tailored and streamlined-- but don't want to spend more than $500. I can't believe how much chairs and matching ottomans are!!!!
We went into an Ashely and Jennifer Convertib;es today-- what other stores can I find nice stuff in that price range?

JCP link - Chair lots of chairs to look at here.
JCP link - ottomans lots of ottomans.
I think you might be able to find something here for close to the price you want. But it might be a little more. GL!

Check Big Lots too... the one by me just did a broyhill buyout and they have some gorgeous stuff! I think you can even bargain with them!
