In NY you can check out- NY doctor profile
Just a word of caution on it - when you look at suits and settlements - keep in mind that a dr might show NO suits but might have 2, 10 or 20 open lawsuits or might have recently lost a case or settled - it takes a while for the information to make it to the website. Also some of the info is only as current as the dr updates it. It is the best site for information. NJ and I think CT also have a similar site.
