Where can I find panko (Japanese-sytle bread crumbs)
There were a couple of recipes in Good Housekeeping this month that I want to try, and it they call for panko. I looked in Pathmark and of course they don't have it there.

Trader Joe's and Uncle G's have them and I **think** I have bought them at S&S.

I know pathmark does not have them but waldbaums does!!!
They are made by progresso, they have plain and italian style
I use them now instead of regular bread crumbs

My Pathmark carries them. Most grocery stores do. Look in the aisle near the stuffing mixes.

Stop & Shop has it in two places - either with the rest of the Oriental foods, or by the bread crumbs.

I buy mine at waldbaums and they're with the other breadcrumbs or sometimes with the breads. At other stores I've seen them in the ethnic aisle

i got them on stop and shop and wegmans (i dont think there's a wegmans on LI tho)
whole foods should have them too

Shop Rite. I get them by the fish dept. They are in a plastic container.
I love panko crusted cod.

it is hard to find...but i just bought some at stop and shop, but it was at on the bottom shelf, and i had to have someone who worked there help me find it!!! im sorry forgot what isle it was in i was looking around the store forever before i finally asked someone to help me! but it was there.. it was a small bag for like $4. There is a ton of recipes that i found that called for this its a healthier "bread crumb" . hope this helps!

I have seen and bought it in both Stop and Shop and Walbaums - it is usually with the bread crumbs - but sometimes with the specialty items. I think the brand is Ians - they come in plain, italian and wheat. They are pretty good. I also think progresso makes them too.
