Where can I get a nice chair & ottoman for under $1000?
Originally we were thinking under $500-- that ain't happening!!!
I just can't bring myself to spend $1400 at Pottery Barn. Seems obscene for a chair!
We have looked:
Raymour & Flanigan
Ashley
Jennifer
Macy's
I found one that's a good price and could work from Ballard Designs, but you can't sit in it. I want to be able to go in and see it and sit in it-- since the number one reason I am getting it is for comfort. Look is secondary, but still important. Actually color choice is secondary, then overall look is last. I just want an off-white canvas.
I cannot think of where else to look, and this search is driving me INSANE!

Like this one from Penneys, is quite adorable. It comes in different colors. The chair is $599.00 and ottoman is $399.00. It also seems that they are running a special on shipping right now too.

This one came from Walmart $404.00 
Overstock $349.00 super fun, looks comfy. 
Fancier looking Overstock too $665.99
Target $438.00 comes in green too

Go to the pb outlet, they have that chair out there all of the time--the manhattan chair.

Out of the Box in Islip - we were looking at a wing chair for $599, and the ottoman was $299. You pick your own fabric. Price can go up or down depending on the fabric.

thanks everyone... I think we are also going to check out Thomasville-- they seem to have a lot of chairs.
It would be great if I could get out to Tanger to the PB outlet, but it;s hard for me to get out there...

I just got a great couch from this place in brooklyn. You pick the stuff out of a book so it may not be what your looking for but you can beat the pricing.
