Make sure the mask fits your face well, or it will leak. Chat Icon

Costco has a really nice US Divers set for a reasonable price. They have similar sets at D1cks's and Sports Authority as well (if they don't have them in stores because of the season, they have them online). We got our masks from EMS because they were the only place that had them in stock in late November. We bought flippers from Walmart in Hawaii (they have really nice sets too but, I'm not sure if the Walmarts around here have that extensive of a snorkeling section).

Make sure the flippers aren't loose, it makes it very hard to use them if they are!

There is a scuba place on Old Country Rd in Westbury that specializes in scuba but they have regular sets too.

I think I spent about $50-60 or so on the set I brought to Aruba for our HM. Hot pink... my fave! Chat Icon
