where can I get those "chucks" they give you at the hopstial when you deliver? (is that what they're called??)
we "took" the extra blue and white absorbent pads from the hopstial home with us and use them on the changing table....but are running low - where can you get more?
I assume a med supply store would have them - but what are they called - and anyone know if they are $$$?
thanks!

I don't know the official name of them - but yes medical stores have them - I don't think they are expensive at all.

You might even want to check a pet supply store because I know a friend of mine uses them (I call them wee wee pads) for her dog. Not sure what they are actually called.

I can get some from work for you-I can drop them off or you can come pick them up.

I'm a nurse too. I was going to suggest to her if she knows a nurse they can "borrow" them from work.

my girlfriend recommended buying these for our changing table so that we don't have to constantly wash/change the nice cover we have. this is one of the absolute best things we've bought for our baby. i cannot live without them! DD pees & poops while i'm changing her all the time & i just chuck the "chuck" in the garbage & put down another one! we have like 300 of them- probably enough to last until DD is toilet trained!
disposable underpads
ETA: they do sell something similar at BRU but these are so much cheaper.

ACtually, target sells something similar in the baby section for use on the changing table.
