It looks like it's embroidered. Check out Just Embroidered Totes. She is a vendor here. I bet if you got the fabric you wanted and sent it to her, she would do it for you.
I ordered bags from her that were fanominal! She also embroidered a basket liner and stocking for my DD becasue Pottery Barn Kids kept spelling her name wrong. Check her out!!
