Your local LLL chapter should be able to set you up with that information.

Re: Where can I rent a pump from?
My hospital gave me the info (which I cant find) and I called about it and one place was $48/month. I thought that was a lot considering if I bought one myself and used it for this pregnancy and any others it would be worth it financially to buy one, not rent.
I bought a pump for $319 (minus a $20 coupon) so basically in 6 mos of renting I would have paid off buying my own.

$48 a month is cheap. I paid $75 a month for a Medela Classic. The Pump in Style is a good pump but just make sure you have a good supply before relying solely on that if you are only pumping because it does nto even compare to a hospital grade pump.

Re: Where can I rent a pump from?
There is a HUGE difference between a hospital pump and a PIS. A hospital pump is needed for supply issues in the first 12 weeks. A PIS is for women who nurse and need an occasional pumping session OR have an established supply.
I paid $75 per month for the Medela Classic for 16 weeks then went to my PIS. What kind of pump is for $48 per month?
Do NOT rent a PIS..they are NOT meant for sharing with others..especially women you do not know personally very well. Disease can be passed to bm and you can't steralize a PIS because of the chance of milk back-up.
www.medela.com has a listing of LC's and pump rental places in your area.
