Where can we donate a computer?
We have a MAC we want to donate to a school/church whatever... it's actually only like 4 yrs old and in really great condition but my DH just had to have the new one! 
Anyone know how/where we can donate it? Do they give you something so you can write it off in taxes? I'm clueless...

I don't know where you can donate it, but anytime you donate an item worth more than $250, you receive a letter stating that you made a donation worth x amount to use at tax time.

I'm sure a church would take it...give it to someone who needed it...when you donate something, they will give you all the papers to give to your CPA for your tax write off

I'm sure many of the local schools would be able to use it. I know the computers in our school are always breaking!
