Where can you sell antique lamps?
Does anyone know where we can try to sell an antique lamp. It was left by the previous owners and in my own taste it is absolutely hideous. However, it is marked that it was made in Italy, and I believe it may be an antique.
Anyone know where I could get it 'appraised' and sell it?
Found a picture-this is not our furniture, this is from the original pics of the house. Sexy lamp huh?
And yes, that IS burnt orange carpet-original from 1973!

Start with your local antique dealer but go to a few. Not all are honest.

I don't even have one right now...I'll have to take it. It was the mockery of the house when we moved in.

Not sure where you are located, but there is a furniture consignement shop in oyster bay. They sell it for you and give you half of whatever it sells for. They will tell you what to sell it for. I don't know if they are appraisers or what, but I thought it was pretty cool. Good luck selling!!
