Where did you buy your faucets for sink/shower/tub?
We went to Blackman. They are quoting us $1600 of Delta venetian bronze for a shower and tub fixtures. 
We went to HD, Lowe's quickly. Is it the same stuff? We did not look in details but we don't know if we can get all the pieces we need there. Like the drain, etc..
Can I get the stuff cheaper somewhere else?

i have heard that companies make lower end and thus cheaper stuff specifically for lowes and home depot.....but that is just what i have heard......no confirmation on that
we are in the market for a new faucet for our master bath and the one i liked at blackman was $665 and DH told me to keep looking......

Yes it's true the quality is lower when it's made for HD and Lowes. I have the victorian venetian bronze set from Delta. We got it from AF Supply in Holtsville. My DH gets contractor pricing there.

My uncle works for HD and he says that they do get a lower quality version of those types of materials. However, he claims that HD's is a higher quality than Lowes.

Ours are from Blackman. DH gets a substantial discount there, so it was expensive, but not crazy.
The quality is much better there than at HD or Lowe's. The way our bathroom sink is set up, we would not have been able to buy a faucet anywhere else- it had to be a special order.

I'd also try overstock. Very good quality at a fraction of the price. I bought my dd bathroom's faucet there and the plumber was very impressed at the quality for the price I had paid.

Lowes - we got the Delta Venetian Bronze and it was EXPENSIVE - even at Lowes.
The sink fixture we got is on Lowe's site for $320. We actually paid $250 last year - I wonder why the price went up so much?

interesting that you say this, i posted asking for places to look for redoing our master bath and someone on here mentioned them, but i thought they were very incompetent, we walked out after only 5 min with the guy.......

We know someone at Sayville Plumbing and we got our fixutres from them. One thing I noticed is that they made sure we had all the under-fittings needed to hook everything up. When I was looking at prices on Faucets.com everything was ala carte - you bought the handles, the faucet, etc. all separate and it didn't include a drain, or fittings underneath so while it looked cheaper, it was hard to compare because it didn't include everything.

I would look online. I bought ALL of my fixtures online and go them for ALOT cheaper. I would look at blackman for what I wanted and then search online and get them that way. I saved money and was able to get the more expensive finishes. I think on average I saved about $500 by using online when we redid our bathroom.
I bought towel rods, in wall sink, shower fixture, 3 hooks for behind the door, toilet paper holder etc.
All my fixtures are Kohler brushed nickel.

We went to Lowes, sign up online for the new movers promo and you will get a 10% off coupon via email the following day.
We bought our shower, and 2 sink faucts and saved about $60!!!

Looked at Blackman and ordered from faucetdirect.com. Got exactly the same faucet and sink and saved $300!
