Where do I begin..

Im starting to think about Ryans christening ( Im very organized...and like to plan in advance)

I would like to have it early Jan...so where do I start?????

Also I remember some posts about christening songs... what is this for...just special requests tothe DJ?

ANd last but not least...since my dad is over seas and cant make it, I want something special said or done, to make his presence there... I was thinking of doing some kinda candle CP and having everyone light one.. but I dont know if thats a little much...

Can't give much advice, since I just starting planning myself, but I know that a lot of times when people ask about Christening songs, it's because they're making CD's as a favor for their guests.

I am planning Hayley's too. We are doing it January 22 but that is about all I have done. I know we are going to have a party but where I have no clue...

Start out by contacting the church to see what days they do christenings on. You might have to have a meeting with the pastor and also take a christening class. I had to meet with the christening coordinator (a lady who works in the office that schedules them) and DH and I had to attend a class the other night.
