Where do I get flashcards?
Thanks! I want to get them today!  I saw some places online - just didn't know if I could get them at an actual store!

Cause its too freaking cold out. Im not stepping foot outside.
I would think Toys r us would have them too.

Babies R Us should have them. But you're better off making up your own.
If you want to borrow, "How to Teach Your Baby to Read", you can. I have it.
As per the book, the letters should be in red, LARGE, CAPITOL letters. No pictures on them at all.
You hold up "NOSE" & you say "Nose" really excitedly. Than you point to your nose & say "Nose". Then you point to their nose & say "Nose", etc., etc.
I think my son was the only 14 month old that knew "wrist", "underarm" "elbow", etc. We taught him all of the weird ones along with "What does the giraffe say?" and he would wiggle his nose & chew his mouth (I don' t think giraffes make a sound).

I love the Baby Einstein ones.
Logan loves looking at them and I think the pictures put things in context.
Then I make sure to point the things out in real life too.
Sun, Flower, Dog, etc.
They also give you blanks to make up your own.

There is a store by the wine store in the Airport Plaza in Farmingdale.
I forgot the name of it but I would think they have tons of learning tools in there.
I keep meaning to go there.

I always score at the dollar store or the target 1.00 bins.
I buy atleast 2 packs of each. They get wrecked quickly since I let him play with them as well. We make it a game where I throw them all and he hands them to me and then I tell him what it is.

They were sesame street - one set of flashcards was ABCs - the other was 123s. Then there is a baby einstein set of alphabet books ....let me check prices -
ok the cards were 8.99 each
the einstein alpha books as 13.49 for the pack
