I would recommend going to BJ's . Not sure if that is what you want to do.
I bought a delicious cake for my dad's b day at Pathmark in NHP. They have a great bakery.

Re: Where do I order a cake for my DD's birthday in Queens
For DS's 2nd birthday we ordered the cake from BJ's (in middle village) and it was delicious! I had kids coming up to me for seconds as I was still cutting the cake up for all the guests...

My favorite cake ever is a neoplian cake from Gian Piero in Astoria. It is in the 40's and I think broadway. Another great bakery that I love is D'Aquilla on Francis Lewis in Flushing.

Stop & Shop in Maspeth makes awesome cakes. I had them make a devils food/cookies & cream ice cream cake for DH's 30th and it was to die for!

Pasticerria on Crossbay Blvd in Howard Beach (same block as Gino's Pizza and KFC)- they make the BEST Neopolitan cake I've ever had!!! it's delicious!!! In Howard Beach there's also Sugar Bun Bakery, you can check out www.howardbeach.com and click on Crossbay, it shows all the businesses on the Boulevard w/ their phone #'s.

Re: Where do I order a cake for my DD's birthday in Queens
There is a bakery in Glendale --- on Myrtle Avenue called Russo's I believe. We have gotten cakes from them for work birthday parties and they've always been good.
Also there is a bakery called Circo in Bushwick which isn't far from MV/Ridgewood. It is on Knickerbocker avenue. The area isn't the best but OH MY GOD they have the most amazing chocolate mousse cake. We ordered it for my friends baby shower since I work in bushwick and it was so good. I have a picture of the cake if you want.

Re: Where do I order a cake for my DD's birthday in Queens
I always use Costco, but I second Russo's on Myrtle. $$$$ though-I needed cakes for over 100 people for each party.
Costco's has my favorite filling-the Cream Cheese, so I am partial to their cakes. You have a choice of filling, cake and icing.
Then, if you want, you can go on ebay and get almost any character you want as a decoration.

(This is from UK, but this is just an example...)
