where do you buy swim wear for a 1 year old?
honestly I haven't a clue whats good and what I need, or even where is the best place to buy it, online works best for me, thanks!
Also what about swim diapers? Are there suits with built in diapers? I read swim diapers don't hold pee in. What is he pees in the pool?

For both of my boys at 1 I had rash guards and swim shorts. I get the swim diapers but only use them when they actually go in the water. As soon as they got out I would change the diaper.
I usually buy two sets each summer so that we always have a clean set since they are constantly in the pool or running through sprinklers.
I like Old Navy best for swim gear (including water shoes for my oldest) and usually get some good deals before and after the summer season.

Kieran has his mommy and daddy's see-through Irish skin so I am superparanoid about sun exposure! I was especially so last summer, because he was only like 6 months old. So I bought him a one piece full coverage suit from Coolibar. It's a great website for swimwear and summer stuff- they have a lot of UVF clothing for extra protection. How much protection does he needs, if he's wearing sunscreen ..
I just feel odd putting long sleeves on him in summer, wont he get hot?

If DS is in water I'll put on the one piece long sleeves. If just hanging around, then only the short sleeve rash guard with the bathing suit shorts. I got his from costco a few months ago and also old navy.

I don't remember the brand name, but I got ones with a diaper built in @ Buy Buy Baby. I got regular trunks (with the mesh inside) @ old navy for DS for like the water table and I use the ones with the built in diaper for the pool.
However, most water parks and some pools require swim diapers and do not allow the built in ones. So I guess it depends where you plan on using them.

If he is wet, he won't be hot. The material is very thing and breathable too.
