I just asked my husband who was from Massapequa. He said to try B and B Fish Market in Lindenhurst. I'd check if it's still around. He said his parents used to always go there (this was a few years back).

I think B&B is closed, but if not don't go there! They had an incident with food contamination a few years ago.
Try Southside in Lindenhurst. And believe it or not Pathmark in Seaford has good seafood, from what I remember, but it has been years. The little fruit stand next to Pathmark in Seaford is good as well, but a little expensive, IMO.

i miss the little fish stores..can't find many of them.
I'm lucky that Shoprite in Plainview carries a great selection of fresh fish.
Just got some cod, shrimp and clams.
