Where do you buy your 'good' jewelry?
I am looking for something for my b-day and it is quite expensive! Absolutely fell IN LOVE last night at Fortunoff with Ceylon sapphire rings, but they were several thousand $'s!!!!!
I would love to get one, but I can't justify spending that much!

Private jeweler in CT (they don't have a retail store).
My first piece of "real" jewelry from DH was a Ceylon Sapphire ring (sapphire flanked by RB diamonds.)

We have a great, reputable jeweler that my husband's family has been going to for years in China Town. When I say his family, I mean his ENTIRE family!

Private jewelers. I used to be a jewelry buyer for Fortunoff- and 2 girls that I used to work with (also buyers) went into business- so I just use them!

I go to Dorothy's Fine jewelry in Sayville. My wedding set is from there, my MIL has a canary diamondring from there- she's got beautiful stuff and Dorothy is a doll! I've sent so many people there.

Where is that in Sayville? I'm always in and out of Kay Cameron on Main Street.

I go to Good Old Gold in Massapequa.

It's on the corner, right behind the new construction of the 5 points cafe.
The pricing is fair, but the jewelry is amazing. She's got something for every budget. My MIL's ring was very expensive, but i've got a few necklaces from there that were very reasonable. I got a London Blue Topaz necklace that I've never seen anywhere else and it was about $250. She's got soooo many nice things. I prefer her jewelry to Kay Cameron's. Kay is all Pandora, etc., Dorothy's is more one-of a kind
