Where do you get your Turkey?

I usually ordered a fresh Bell and Evans Turkey from a local meat store but they closed. Does Uncle Guiseppes sell fresh turkeys? Where is a good place to go? I am in Suffolk.

Re: Where do you get your Turkey?

I got mine from Ceriello in Williston Park last year. It was brined, seasoned and ready to cook in a disposable pan. They have it covered and told me it did not have to be basted. They give you cooking directions.

The cover came off the last hour for the skin to brown. Sooo juicy and EASY! I ordered from there this year too.Ceriello

I usually get a frozen turkey, but this year I'm going to buy a fresh brined turkey from Whole Foods.

North Shore Farms carries Bell and Evans; actually on sale I believe for $1.99/lb is what I saw in their flyer.

They have a few locations; Nassau and Suffolk.

Re: Where do you get your Turkey?

We order our turkey from iavorone bros. they cook it and carve it and put it back on turkey( for an extra charge). We pick it up on thanksgiving

And it is so good.

FYI - zorns is closed Thanksgiving, you have to pick up day before and you must order a meal. You cannot just get he Turkey.
