Where do you think Max and Ruby's parents are?
Is it me, or are Max and Ruby orphans who live alone and occasionally visit their grandmother?
Has anyone ever seen or heard a reference to the parents?
DD loves this show but it is starting to irk me that the parents are never around

So what is even sader is that I think about this on my lunch break...along with the songs from Noggin shows that both my husband I wake up singing every morning

If you look in the living room over their couch...they have a picture of the family...with mom and dad.

It's funny you asked this question for weeks I have been wondering about that. I have only seen their grandmother. This is my ds favorite show and everytime I watch it with him that's the first thing that comes to my mind "Where are the parents"

More importantly than that, where are Stephanies parents and if she lives with her aunt and uncle, howcome they are pupets and she is human? And why do they let her hang out with adults so much?

Great...now I'm going to have her voice going through my head for the rest of the day..... My own fault.. I started this topic.
I have it in my head all day too now that it's on from 6-7pm and that's the only time I'm home with DS and have the TV on during the week. I can't wait till they rotate the Backyardigans back in that spot!

And the fact that max listens to his shows on the radio...
Ruby is so bossy ....but I love the way Max growls his eyes when he does not like something she says.. thats cracks me up...

I'm not too sure if I buy into this.
Don't brothers and sisters usually solve their conflicts by beating the crap out of each other?
