Where does your baby play?
Emily's toys are kept in the living room, and even though we sorted through them and packed up a lot for storage after Christmas, I still feel like our living room is very much a playroom and not a living room.
Where are your child's toys kept, or where do they mostly play?
ETA that we live in a small 2-bedroom apartment so it's not like we have an extra room to be used as a den or a playroom, although it would be nice to!

Re: Where does your baby play?
We have a finished basement and a lot of her toys are down there but I can't be down there with her all the time and get things done so we have a fair amount upstairs in the family room where the TV is and she spends most of her time playing there. When she's old enough to have friends over and play on her own though toys will be in her room or the basement and I will get my house back.

Re: Where does your baby play?
We live in a tiny house with 7 rooms and everything is in the living room! At the end of the day it looks like a TOY BOMB has hit the place.
I was going to post some pictures, but then realised I was too ashamed to do it!!!

Re: Where does your baby play?
My DD actually plays in the kitchen. It's fairly large and we have an area rug that she plays on...not the safest place, but, I keep an eye on her at all time.

Re: Where does your baby play?
We are in the process of buying a house, we rent one now and its pretty big, but it doesn't have any storage, and the bedrooms are small, So Julia's toys are in our livingroom, but its a huge room so its fine where they are right now, I would love a big playroom for her.....hopefully our other house will.

Same here! Our basement is mostly finished, just some minor things to do, but it's a PITA to go up & down every time I need something from the kitchen, etc... Hopefully when she's a bit older we'll use it more!

Re: Where does your baby play?
Our livingroom is baby toy central for us. We have no other options in a one bedroom apartment. Just five more months, though!

Mostly in the living room. It's probably the most used room for us in general.

Re: Where does your baby play?
We somehow have toys in every room of our house even though I have an adorable 10x17 playroom with full bath for them. I'm actually trying to get them to play up there more often and just keep a "few" toys downstairs. It's so out of hand!!!!

Re: Where does your baby play?
our living room is pretty big, so we designated the back of it to her play area...she doesn't necessarily stay there, but that's another story.

Re: Where does your baby play?
His are in the den. That is where he watches or should i say doesnt watch TV. I have an entertainment center in there and there is a cabinet on the bottom where i store the toys at the end of the day and also a long leather foot rest in front of the couch that opens up. I also store toys in there too with some throws. I clean up the toys every night and besides the leap frog piano thingee and a toy lawnmower, you would never know he plays in there.
But, Jacob is also not into toys at the present time so there are hardly any. 2 trucks maybe, some legos and that learning puppy that he totally ignores is really all he has. I bought him 2 things for xmas and my inlaws bought him one. I couldnt see spending butt loads of $$ on toys when he could really care less. Especially when there are so many wires to try to chew thru and cabinets to empty!!!
