I hate this place. I avoid it like the plaque.
especially on a weekend afternoon. I don't find the stores user-friendly there.

we live like 2 mins from there
the crowds of people there are insane - we try to go on off hours

I don't know if Manhatan is convenient, but Home Depot is on 23rd between 5th & 6th & Bed Bath & Beyond in on 6th & 19th, with TJ Max & Filene's Basement in the same complex.

on Sunrise in Bayshore is Lowes and next Door is Linens and things and Target.
In Copiague there is A Home Depot , and Target in same shopping center and then down the road a Linens and things and TJ Maxx and Burlington all in the same shopping center and Kohls a block away.

In Commack there is a Target Greatland, Costco, Home Goods, Home Depot Expo and next shopping center over 100 yards is Hope Depot, Wall Mart & Kohls.
Down the road about 6 miles is Linen & Things, Target, Borders, Pier One, Macy's, Sports Authority, Babies R Us & Michaels

in Westbury you have the BB&B right on Merchants Concourse, Walmart about a mile down Old Country Rd, and then you also have Home Depot, Home Depot Expo, Lowe's and Target all on Corporate Drive. All stores are about 1 mile away from each other.
And then in between, you have Fortunoff and Costco to check out too!

I hate it there too, we went a couple of weeks ago with my MIL who lives in Ocala, Florida and it was MAJOR culture shock for her.
