Where on LI do you run?
I am currently training for another half marathon and i am getting so bored of running around my neighborhood. When I have trained in the past, i will go into the city and run in central park for my long runs. There has to be a good trail somewhere on LI that I can run.
And if someone wants to bring me and show me said trail that would be amazing!

Bethpage State Park has a great trail that runs all the way along Bethpage Pkwy from Bethpage to Sunrise Hwy in Massapequa.

I used to run a the massapequa preserves all the time off of sunrise highway but have had to stop b/c of the snow. it is 6 miles one way to bethpage and then 6 back and there are mile markers. It's a great place to run if it's clear cause of the snow! Also I used to do cedar creek park and then the hills there as well. Sunken Meadow is also a great place to run!

i second bethpage- there may still be some ice/snow on it. you should go to eisenhower park- ive been running there

I run in Eisenhower Park. It's right down the block from me so its the most convinent!

Eisenhower would be closest to me. where does the path start and how big is the loop? I am petrified of looking like an idiot.
(actually hempstead lake state park is closest but I can not figure out where the running path is)
