Where should we go this weekend?

Last minute getaway. Thurs- Sun.
Checked all the places we'd be interested in in Montauk- theyre all booked (don't want to spend $250+ per night just for the hotel- i'd rather spend that money shopping and on )

Cape May seemed to be the same situation.

Already went to Mystic.

We just want a relaxing, pool and beach type of place. Nice dinner and drinks.... not really asking too much But every place we've looked at so far is booked (i know- its peak season for those places).

Don't really want to drive more than 3-3.5 hours from Central Nassau.

Any ideas?

- in Montauk... how about renting a house. I explored that last year and found a great home... http://www.seaskisunvacations.com/Montauk.html ... obviously I know it may not be available but you never know. The owner is a former school Principal... very nice... easy to work with.

one more thought... how about Jamesport? You can go to some wineries, hit a local beach, etc.
