Where to buy bowling accessories?
I am new to bowling and so is my son. I have been searching for cheap shoes for him and maybe some other things. I have looked on Amazon, but really haven't found much in toddler sizes. Are there any good bowling websites to buy stuff? I only know of Dexter. I am looking for reputable sites. Or are there any stores on LI? I know the alleys have stores. Just wondering if there is an actual bowling store not associated with an alley.
And, did I spell accessories right? My eyes aren't working right now.
Thanks!

I will ask DH and let you know. I remember he bought his shoes online a couple of years ago.

Re: Where to buy bowling accessories?
I usually get my stuff from the pro shop.
We tried finding toddler shoes for our kids and the pro shop said they don't start until size 1.
I searched the internet and found that I can buy "rental style" toddler bowling shoes but they are like $40.
When we go bowling they don't normally make us put shoes on the kids if they have sneakers on. AMF babylon has toddler size 9 rental, but those have been too big on my two kids in the past.

I did find some of those rental shoes like you said. I want to buy them in a bigger size than what he is. He did fit into the bigger size rentals at the alley. He joined a league and every time we go is $4 for a rental.
But I can only find one pair of toddler shoes. I didn't know where else to look. The alley has them to rent, so I know they are out there.
Plus, the pro shop had an awesome bowling bag with Nemo on it. He liked the bag, but I was trying to find that bag with other characters. It would be great to carry our shoes in, and eventually, a ball for him as he gets older. I also noticed it would be a perfect carry on bag for the airplane as it is on wheels too.

He is in a league and you have to pay for shoes?
All the leagues I have been in, you never had to pay for shoes whether you had them or not.

The league is for toddlers. The lanes are in a different area of the alley. Then after the league he likes to play a game or two of big bowling. That's when he needs the shoes. And he likes to play mommy, so I need shoes. But they happened to have my size shoes on clearance from the shop for $20!!!
Are you arguing with me this early?

I don't know where you're located, but there's a Bowl-Mart in Mineola. I bought a bowling ball there about 10 years ago.

I don't know if they have kid sizes, but years ago I got shoes at Sports Authority. Maybe they would have it online?

Is this at Coram? They have an Ebay store too..

Yes, and I strongly recommend a pro shop for all bowling needs, especially the ball and shoes. He can recommend the right equipment for your game, age, gender, etc. Nearly all bowling centers have a pro shop and most are very good.

Re: Where to buy bowling accessories?
DH is on a league and he buys accessories from Bowling.com. They have good prices and customer service. For balls, he'll usually go to the Pro Shop (AMF Farmingdale) to check them out, buy an undrilled one from Bowling.com, and then have the Pro shop drill the holes for him. HTH!

I really need the shoes for DS and the pro shop can't get them in his size. They start about 3 sizes higher. Which confuses me because they have his size to rent, so I know they are out there. I am trying to find them.

I used to bowl on a league and I would purchase my gear (not my ball) from Bowling.com. They have a section called "Kids Shoes"
