where to buy jeans for 'bigger' toddlers?
my daughter is 17 months old and in a 2T and even sometimes a 3T. She is off the charts for both length and weight.
i am having such a hard time finding jeans!! they just dont fit her waist. i dont know if its because those sizes are made for kids without diapers and bc usually kids slim down by the time they are in that size.
ive tried carters, osh kosh, childrens place...they just dont fit her waist or fit weird around her diaper. all she wears is leggings and jeggings lol
anyone know where i can find jeans that might fit her??

My DS is the opposite. He's real small for his age and he's 2. Everything is rolled up and I have to tighten the waist even with his diapers
Did you look in the jeans to see if they have the buttons to loosen or make tighter? I get some Cherokee pants at Target. They're usually pretty good with sizes.

JC Penny and Old Navy have the adjustable waiste bands , so I usually bought the pants larger , rolled the legs under ,and took in the sides with the adjustable bands .

wow i could have written this myself! dd will be 18 mos in a few days....same thing - off the charts for both. Only jeans she can fit in are Gap Trouser Cut and Childrens Place Flare...they both have the thing inside to make the waist looser or tighter...adjustable waist they call it. And they are not "skinny" jeans so the legs will fit too...not a fitted leg at all. The childrens place ones are adorable with a ruflle at the bottom of the leg.
ETA: my DD is 2T in most things also...just starting to buy her 3T tops in certain stores that run small. Anyway - the Gap jeans fit her in a 18-24 mos - they are pretty true to size. Check the length/weight on their size chart. The 2T gap would be too long on my DD...she was 34" at her 15 mo checkup...she's def grown since then b/c stuff is short on her. The childrens place she is also in 24 mos as they don't have a 2T...they go right to 3T. That would be too long on her. And I just adjust the waist band to make them looser to fit.

My DS is also very big for 18 months, we have to use the adjustable waist bands or else they don't fit properly. I like gap and old navy pants for him. I also got a belt that he wears with most pants.
