Where to buy shelves for nursery?
I can't find anything that is in my budget. The shelf set I love in the new Pottery Barn catalogue is $229.00, DH would kill me.
All I want is a couple of shelves for some small baskets, bookends, books, maybe a couple of small frames and the baby camera monitor. Suggestions? I was going to check Michaels tomorrow, maybe stain or paint them myself?

I'd check Target.
I looked at Baby Furniture and then Storage and they had a bunch. I liked this (not sure if you have having a girl though)
We have this one in Sarah's room, I put a lamp, a clock and the monitor on the top, and then books on the shelves.

That's adorable. I'm looking for wall shelves though because space is limited already. I haven't checked Target yet, good suggestions.

I'm not sure where you live.,.but the Pottery Barn outlet in Riverhead carries alot of different wall shelves..

I got mine from AC Moore and I painted and decorated it myself. The shelf, letters, sports balls, paints, and painting supplies cost me about $50 (I used a 40% off coupon on the shelf). Image Attachment(s):

WE bought some shelves in Ikea that I love and are inexpensive. They install so that you don't see any brackets. You can see them in this old picture of the nursery:

I've seen some shelves at Michael's that I'm looking into buying and putting up in our nursery.
They are plain wood and you can paint them or stain them if you want.
The prices seemed pretty reasonable to me.

Those are the shelves that I have and I got them from IKEA as well mine are just a little darker wood
