Where to buy used baby gear?
I am looking to buy the Laura Ashley swing that matches my other items, but it is no longer being made. Does anyone know of anywhere I could buy a used one? I checked Craigs List, but it seems that the people that have it are out of town and do not want to ship it! Any ideas?

There's a consignment store in Hicksville I think? I'm sure someone on here will know about it. I think the name is Once Upon a Child, maybe? It's a total crapshoot that they'll have something specific like that. If it was just discontinued then I'd check actual stores for clearanced ones or online sites for clearanced ones as well.

Once Upon a Child is in Seaford (on 107 - near the Southern State). It's worth a shot to give them a call.
Ebay is also an excellent idea. Did you try to Google it to see if any on-line retailers still have it?

You should also try calling the manufacturer - maybe they still have some even if they were discontinued. They can also tell you where they were sold originally so that you can check there...
