Where to by pants for my skinny boy?
DS is long and skinny and I have such a hard time finding pants that don't fall off him. He wears an 18-24mo size depending on the brand but usually what fits in the waist is too short and what fits in length falls off his little tushy.
I have been told that some places have pants with adjustable waists but I have only seen them in size 2T and up and I think 2T will be huge on him even with the adjustable waist.
So, if you have a skinny kid, what pants work best for you?
Thanks

overalls.. i know its not a popular look, but i think it looks cute on skinny boys...and he doesn't have to adjust his pants all day

I agree, I found that they worked great for DS#1 who is very slim but not for DS#2, who is stocky.
ETA: Pants with adjustable waists are a must also....Old Navy pants have them and JCPenney Arizona/American Eagle brands.

I agree with Old Navy.
We've tried several brands between what I have bought and hand me downs. The Old NAvy stuff seems to be the "skinniest".

I had the same problem! When he was too small for 2T and most stores, the only place I found that always had adjustable waist in the smaller sizes was Target. Genuine Kids is the brand I think.

Old Navy and Gap fit really good. I actually think Old Navy is a little better for skinnny boys. He also has a few Carters onsies type long sleeve shirts with matching thin cotton pants that fit great on his skinny waist. I got them at kohls.

I like Crazy 8 for DS b/c they are skinny. I find gap good in the waste but a little long. Gymboree fit will but they are a little looser. Carters work well. I also like Ralph Lauren and Guess.

Re: Where to by pants for my skinny boy?
Old Navy is perfect for tall skinny boys. My 5 year old weighs 35 pounds tops, but is very tall. Old Navy is very lean and has the adjustable waist. They usually wear out after one season, but it works out fine since they grow so fast at this age.
