Where to eat in Hamptons for lunch?
My dad is coming in from Indiana and we were thinking of walking around Southampton and doing lunch. Anyone have any suggestions for a good place (in any of the Hamptons) and one where we might actually see some celebrities (since I am a starstruck freak).

Well, a casual place is called "Lunch" - it's right on Montauk Hwy just past Amagansset...it's possible to see stars there.

That's pretty far from Southampton and I don't think opened yet for the season.....
We loved The Laundry in E Hampton - also Della Femina in E. Hampton has a lot of celebrity status, as does Nick & Toni's. In Southampton, The Plaza Cafe and Wildthyme.

No - just something casual. I also just checked Nick and Toni's - they only serve dinner.

the place to eat for lunch in south hampton is silvers -a little restaurant only open for lunch - they have a great lobster dish- right on main st

I second Cittanuovo in EH as its right on newtown lane and the only place in the village to sit outside for lunch. Also in EH is a restaurant on montauk Hwy called Nichols - its on the way into town on the left hand side. It has outdoor dining and great food. Star sightings this time of year can be hit and miss..I did stand on line behind mercedes ruehl this weekend in walbaums though.....

here is a review
DH and I ate here. The food is good, but be prepared to pay $$$. It cost us over $60 for LUNCH!
