Re: Where to eat/play in Key West?

I was just there is December for a wedding.

Breakfast - Camille's for the best French toast I have ever had in my entire life (it had fresh strawberries and was drizzled in Godiva White chocolate liquor)

Blue Heaven - really cool place for breakfast also.

I actually never went anywhere for dinner because of the wedding but we hung out at Irish Kevin and a bunch of other bars on Duval street that I can't remember the names of!

We also went to tour Hemingway's house which was cool. We stopped at a winery for a tasting of wines that were made with things other than grapes and we also went to the Key Lime pie factory.

Also sunset at Mallory Square is really nice.

Re: Where to eat/play in Key West?

Dinners;
Mangia Mangia on Southard is awesome
Cafe Sole on Frances St. also has amazing food
A & B Lobster if you want to do a truly elegant dining experience
Louie's Backyard on the south end of Duval
Pancho's for good mexican
Old Town Mexican on Duval has surprisingly good food and GREAT Mojitos!!!

Breakfast:
Blue Heaven - There's usually a wait, but it's always worth it.
Croissant D'France - delicious crepes and croissants...extremely French.

Dessert:
Flamingo Crossing is by far my fave!

Drink:
Irish Kevin's is a must
Finnegan's Wake - Awesome!!
and then you have to do
Capt. Tony's
Bull & Whistle
Hogsbreath (I've never bought a drink there in 11 years)
Sloppy Joes

To Do...
If you go down to Smather's Beach - on the South Side of the Island - there is a place called Sunset Rentals. They have been around for about 20 years and rent everything. They don't rent the jet-ski's right there, but they'll tell you where to go. They have kayaks, sailboards, jet-ski's, and they do parasailing. They are pretty reasonably priced compared to the rest of the island.
I agree with Kimmie on the cemetery, Mallory Square and trolley. You might also want to check out the lighthouse and Ernest Hemingways house - there's a cool story about a penny and the poolChat Icon

I think that's it - whew!!!
I've been going there for almost twenty years and still love it everytime I go....Have a great time!!!!!!!
