Where to find those foil 'wraps' you see on poinsetta plants?
You see them everywhere on pre-made poinsetta plants this time of year. They cover the pots that the plants are in. They look like a thick version of tissue paper, but are metallic. What are they called?
I just need to find a silver one for a poinsetta plant I am making for my parents. I looked at Michaels, but couldn't find it. Where would I be looking in there? I am about to use aluminum foil.
TIA!!!!!

maybe at a nursery? I tried googling to get a name and came up with Florist Paper but when I search for that a lot of tissue paper that resists moisture comes up. One site suggested using wax paper as a water barrier. hth.

Thanks! We do have a nursery down the road, so I will check them out. I am using silk flowers for an indoor arrangement, so i don't really need a water barrier though. Just trying to cover the pot with something silver.

Kelly, I realize this is late coming, but I thought I'd suggest for future reference.... I love using the different foil wraps to wrap gifts!!! I get mine at Flower and Craft Warehouse. Mary See link below.

Thanks very much! I will keep this in mind! I actually ended up asking the floral dept at Stop n Shop of all places. They gave me a ton of it for 50 cents.
