where to get rid of tons of household stuff (donate, free etc)
we have tons of things we want to get rid of before we move next week for free.. kitchen stuff (glasses, dishes, pots ,bowls) and coach,chairs (these arne't in great condition we had them 2nd hand so it would be 3rd hand by now)
where can we get rid of these things?
Im not too keen on Craigs list
ETA Im in north jersey not LI

Why are you not keen on craigslist? I would just do a post that all that stuff will be at the curb this date, people will take them, don't you worry.

We posted all of the leftover stuff we had from my grandma's house on craiglist.
The next day, we found a thank you note on the door from a woman's shelter. Everything was gone.
I would contact a local women's shelter. It sounds like you have the ideal things one of them would need to start their life over.
